COMMON QUESTIONS
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does Veris require a mobile hotspot?
Current Alpha systems rely on a technician-provided internet connection to synchronize data and generate Environmental Change Reports. Future production versions are planned to include integrated LTE or cellular connectivity.
Why should I wait 60 seconds before taking an observation?
This allows the environmental sensors to stabilize before capturing observations.
Why should I wait approximately 20 minutes after service?
This allows environmental conditions to settle before collecting the comparative AFTER observations.
Does Veris certify indoor air quality?
No. Veris documents observed environmental conditions and environmental change. It does not certify environmental safety or make medical, regulatory, or compliance determinations.
Why is tripod height important?
Using a consistent measurement height between approximately 36 and 42 inches helps improve repeatability between BEFORE and AFTER observations.
